Hello Dogwood Friends!
I hope everyone is enjoying the summer. And hopefully everyone is staying cool!
In July I received sad news from the Allen Family. Clint’s youngest brother passed away from cancer in June, and a sister-in-law had passed away the end of May. A sympathy card was sent.
Steve Hall, a Dogwood member for many years, passed away after a long battle with cancer on July 18. Even though Steve and Mary were no longer active members, they still attended rallies and gatherings held at TGO whenever they could. A sympathy card was sent to Mary and a donation of $50 was sent to the American Cancer Society in Steve’s honor.
Thank you to all who reached out to keep me informed of these events. Please continue to let me know whenever you hear of our members being ill, having surgery, losing a loved one (even a pet) or just not doing well for whatever reason at ndmeyer3@icloud.com or 757-813-0828.
