Lancaster PA Rally - 2023

Hello Dogwood! We just returned from the Dogwood Rally in Lancaster, PA. - what a great party! Jean and I have been on the road since the first of May and this was an excellent wrap-up for our tours; no more traveling for a while (I think...) At Lancaster we picked up new members: Cipas, Sherrows and Mahanes – welcome aboard and we are glad to have you join us! I can’t wait to see the writeup and photos. Did you know that we have some real actors/stage performers/puppeteers in our club? Yes we do and the videos will be great to watch.

Once again I ask that you please check our blogsite for the biographies on the candidates running for national office. It is very important for the future of FMCA that we get our vote in at Gillette, Wyoming this summer. At the Lancaster Rally, we had some pretty good discussion regarding the candidates, and I saw strong opinions on all sides. So please let Ed Fisher (our National Director and attendee to Gillette) know who you want to vote for as soon as possible.  

The blogsite continues to be our way of “getting the word out” to the club – several folks have commented to me about how much they liked its format and content. Check out the rally schedules and member stories; they are fun to read. Several rallies are coming up in the next few months – the big National Convention in Gillette that I mentioned earlier, the September rally at the Refuge on Roanoke Island near Manteo, NC and GEAR in Lewisburg in October. So mark your calendars and I hope to see you there!
