Hello All.
First, I want to thank those who nominated me and took the time to submit a writeup to FRVA. Just knowing I was nominated means so much to me – getting selected is the cherry on top! All of you have helped and supported me in this position, and I’m truly honored. So a sincere thanks to all of YOU!!
Nanette & I are staying busy, as I suspect you all are. We had a wonderful time at the NLB Rally. Thanks to all who came out! And if you are looking for someone to cohost with, we highly recommend the Robisons and Buelows!!
Well, it is Lacrosse Season in the northeast for the travel teams. We started in Allentown PA with one of our grandsons. Last week we were in Hershey PA with our granddaughter (many of you may remember Taylor) and this weekend we are parked in Schenectady NY with games in Amherst MA and Albany NY!! We are definitely getting our steps in at the games! And I’m happy to report our new refrigerator is working as expected. After it crapped out on us 2 years in a row, we decided not to have it repaired again, and bought a new one. The challenge of course is getting the old one out and the new one in. Because it won’t fit through the door, they have to remove the driver’s side seat and window – UGH. We did have to make a second visit and have since found a couple bumps and scrapes around the coach, but we are happy with our decision to replace it. The old one is home in the garage – another project or scrap metal?? We’ll see (Nanette says the latter!)…
On to Dogwood business. I updated and distributed our Membership Directory earlier this month. So the latest version is now June 19th. Please let me know if you have any updates or corrections for me to make.
I will start changing the Blog and some of our documents to reflect the change from FMCA to FRVA. It will be slow going, but wanted to let you know it was coming. We have been busy posting articles to the Blog and sending out emails too. I have a couple more articles in the works for after the newsletter. My goal is to keep everyone updated on all the latest. I hope we are being successful! If not – I would like to hear from you. Constructive criticism is always welcome. We continue to post updates for the upcoming Rallies, and it is a busy year! Stay on top of all the latest information - Visit often and stay up to date here on the Blog Site!
As always, please share your travels and adventures – I’d love to share your stories with the chapter! Thanks to the Bucklews for sharing their adventures at the Music City Motorhome Expo. Sounds like it was a lot of fun!
