FMCA EAMA Election 2020

FMCA Eastern Area VP Election

An election to replace Bill Mallory as our current EA VP will be held soon, with the cutoff date for mailing in ballots being May 16, 2020. As this is an FMCA, and not an Eastern Area Position, the voting member from each chapter will be the National Director, in our case Ed Fisher.

Candidates for the EA VP position are:

Garnetta Mallory

Gaye Young

Many of you know both Garnetta and Gay, as they have both been deeply involved in FMCA and EAMA for many years.

As of now,  I have received an email and resume from Gaye Young, and so has Ed Fisher. Because the resume was several pages and we had a problem including the entire document in this article, only a portion of the resume is included. If you desire a copy of the entire resume, please contact Jim Buelow at jandsbuelow@aol.com or Ed Fisher at aandedfisher@gmail.com

I have not received any correspondence from Garnetta Mallory.

As I mentioned earlier, Ed Fisher will submit the ballot from Dogwood to fill The EA VP position. As always, and because the National Director is more familiar and more experienced with matters and elections at the FMCA level, Ed is offered much latitude in making decisions and casting votes for our chapter. However, he is always receptive to the thoughts and ideas of our members, so if you have comments to share with Ed about the candidates, please call Ed at (804 370-4066) or email him at aandedfisher@gmail.com Please respond before April 20, 2020.
