VP Communications Update – Mar/Apr 2026

Hello Dogwood.

I decided to share a few tips on navigating the Blog Site for this month’s article.  I hope you find it helpful.

The main page is broken into several sections, and I will cover a few of them today.

At the very top is our Dogwood Banner.  Clicking on the banner will bring you back “home” to the top of the main Blog page.  This can be useful if you execute a search and want to get back to the main page.

Directly below the banner is the menu bar with shortcuts to other areas, like the Rally Schedule, Rally Details, Member Stories, and our Member Photo Directory.  A quick note on the Member’s Stories - clicking on it will take you to a list of stories and articles submitted by you – our Dogwood Members.  I look forward to adding new stories from all of you, so don’t be shy.  We are looking for your travel adventures, RV modifications, and fixes, etc.  Send them in for all to enjoy 😊

The Blog posts run down the center of the page.  You will see the most recent posts at the top, as you scroll down the page.  When you get to the bottom, you can select “Older Posts” to reload the page and continue scrolling through the posts.

As you scroll down the page, you will notice several sections along the right-hand side.

Then we also have a section for the Eastern Area (EA).  Illustrated in this picture:  (1) Clicking on the EA logo will take you to the EA website.  (2) Clicking on the Welcome Letter will display a copy of the letter, and finally, (3) clicking on the bulleted items will take you to that specific article selected.

A list of different types of items

AI-generated content may be incorrect. The last section I want to cover today is very important.  It is the section named Chapter Reference Documents.  Under the Reference Documents section, we have a lot of good information available to you.  This is where you will find access to copies of the Chapter Bylaws and Standing Rules, the Rally Hosting Handbook, Membership Application, Expense Forms with Instructions, and Order Forms, among other things.  … Show off your Dogwood Pride!  Links to the order forms are available for our Dogwood nametags, t-shirts, mirror covers, and more.

Here is a screen capture of the section.  Each bullet is a link that will take you to the desired document or form.

I hope this information is helpful.  I will plan to cover additional sections in future articles.  BUT if you have any questions now, please email me at FMCADogwood@gmail.com, and I will respond as soon as possible.  Also, If you have ideas for items that would be useful to Dogwood members, please submit them via email and we will look at how to incorporate them into the Blog.

Hope to see you at one of the upcoming rallies!
