Care Person Report September

Care Person Report by Susan Buelow     9-2-2020

Jim and Susan Buelow

Hello Dogwood Family,
Gaye Young, our new EAMA President, was diagnosed with Covid 19 awhile back, and we are happy to announce that she is now doing well. Good luck Gaye.
Steve Sohles – Per Steve, “Please pass along that I have started radiation therapy for latent Prostate cancer and expect to be done in early October.  Better than 50% chance this treatment will be curative. So glad we were able to attend the July rally at Americamps, as for now we are grounded.” Best wishes Steve.
Dave Meyer was diagnosed with throat cancer in December. Since that time, he has gone through extensive chemo/radiation treatments, and I am happy to report that the recent tests conducted indicate the cancer is gone. David is still recovering, but doing very well. Great news for the Meyer family.
Dale Robison continues to recover from knee replacement. She is about finished with her PT and is doing well. Best wishes Dale.
Wilt Greenwood was feeling poorly and was diagnosed with a blockage in his heart. A stint was put in about 3 weeks ago, and he is feeling much better. And on September 6, he will turn 80. Happy Birthday Wilt, and hang in there.
Nancy Wolfe had surgery on August 3 to have a Basel Cell Carcinoma removed from her forehead. The healing process has been slow, but she is doing well, and she and Dick are currently enjoying some down time in Lewisburg, WV.
And Amy, daughter of Paul and Nancy Cummings, continues her recovery from the loss of both legs. Although Covid 19 slowed her Pt schedule, she is doing very well. Nancy is still in WY caring for Amy, while Paul is taking care of things in VA. Hopefully this family can be reunited soon.  Good luck.
Please keep our friends and others who are down and out in your thoughts and prayers, and keep me updated about member status.
Be Safe and take care,
Susan
