Thursday, December 5 (pre-rally)
5:00 pm Social hour on the patio behind the office. Americamps provides free dinner for everyone staying in the campground so we can move inside to eat.
Friday, December 6
5:00 pm Happy hour in the room adjacent to the office. Last names beginning with A-M, please bring a light appetizer to share. Jim Buelow will be raffling some exciting prizes!
6:00 pm Dinner of fried chicken, scalloped potatoes, cole slaw, biscuits, and dessert provided by hosts. Bring your own drinks, plates, and utensils.
7:00 pm Option A) Outing to Lewis Ginter GardenFest of Lights. Nightly hours from 5-10 pm. Non-member tickets are $13 for adults, $11 for seniors (55+), and $8 for children (3-12). Carpooling encouraged – leave from the room where we have dinner. See Dale Robison prior to dinner to give her the entrance fee and she’ll purchase all the tickets for those who choose to go in order to make the entrance much smoother and easier to manage.
Directions: Head south on State Route 809 towards State Route 1259. .3 miles, turn right on State Route 1261. 1.3 miles, turn right onto VA-656 west. .4 miles, use the right lane to take the ramp to I-95 south. 3.2 miles, take exit 83B to merge onto Parham Road (VA-73 W/E). .5 miles, use the left 2 lanes to turn left onto Brook Road (US-1 south). .9 miles, turn right onto Lakeside Avenue. Lewis Ginter is .8 miles on the right. Address: 1800 Lakeside Ave, Richmond, VA 23228
Option B) For those who choose not to visit Lewis Ginter, we will play card bingo, with fun and fabulous prizes! Remain in the same room where we had dinner and join your hosts, Patty and Henry Kuiken.
Saturday, December 7
9:00 am Note that from 8 to 9am, Americamps serves free waffles and coffee to everyone staying at the campground so feel free to partake. Dogwoods will have the room at 9:00 and the campground will stay an extra 30 minutes to prepare waffles for us. Your hosts will provide: Eggs, bacon, sausage, hash brown casserole, biscuits, fruit and juice. Bring your own plates and utensils.
10:00 am Business meeting to include rally planning for 2020. Please bring your thoughts on rally locations, rally activities, and a willingness to host a rally for 2020.
Immediately following the business meeting OR Saturday evening, we will gather for a group photo in our Dogwood apparel. (Paul Cummings will announce the time and place Friday night.)
1:00 pm Demonstration/lesson by Andrea Monaghan on putting together travel picture albums, using an on-line program. If you’d like to bring your laptop or phone, Andrea can do a working session or you can just listen for some great ideas. I understand Andrea presented this at the rally in November and it was so well-received, we decided to ask her for an encore!

Last names beginning with N-Z, please bring a light appetizer to share and wear your most “fashionable” Christmas apparel. 50/50 raffle will be held!
5:30 pm Dinner provided by your hosts: spaghetti, vegetable, bread, salad, dessert. Bring your own plates, utensils and beverages.
6:30 pm The ever-popular Yankee Swap! Please bring a wrapped gift per coach, valued at $25 to participate. Laughter and mayhem are sure to ensue!
Sunday, December 8
9:00 am Continental breakfast of Danishes, muffins, and fruit, provided by the hosts, Bring your own plates and utensils. Coffee provided by Americamps for all staying there.
The Gourmands have tentative plans for dinner for those who plan to stay over Sunday night.
Anyone is welcome to join them – you don’t have to be a member.
