The Christmas Rally will be held December 2-4 at the Outdoor World Campground in Williamsburg VA. Your hosts for the weekend are Donna & Carl Gruel, Joyce & Dennis Reid, Sue & Steve Sohles and Pat & Clint Allen.
Campground Reservations:
- Williamsburg Outdoor World Manager: Gary Bock
- Reservations: Make your reservations directly with the campground at (757) 566-3021. Be sure to tell them you are with the Dogwood group to receive the discounted price of $38.50 plus tax per night. If you call the regular reservation number for Outdoor World, the charge will be $42.50.
- Some members may have access to better prices if you have memberships with Outdoor World, Passport, Thousand Trails, etc. You will need to check the details for your specific membership.
- Campsite selection is on a first come first server basis, however, the park is typically not busy this time of year.
Directions: From I-64, take exit 231A (Norge exit; same exit as American Heritage). Travel 200 yards then turn right on route 30 North. Go 1/4 mile to campground entrance on the left. If there is no attendant outside, proceed to the gate and page the ranger via the intercom. The address is 4301 Rochambeau Drive, Williamsburg VA 23188.
Rally fees for weekend are $25 per person to cover cocktail hour snacks and dinners for Friday and Saturday and breakfasts for Saturday and Sunday. The menu is a surprise and will come in your welcome bag at Friday night's cocktail hour. Bring your own beverages, plates, and utensils; your hosts will provide the rest. Please register with Pat Allen by November 18.
This year's Yankee Gift Swap will have a new twist. Bring a wrapped "regift". Here is your chance to get rid of that wedding, anniversary or Christmas present that you will never use. Let's have some fun with this guys!
