GEAR

GEAR (The Greater Eastern Area Rally) will be held June 4 - 7 at the Richmond International Raceway in Richmond Virginia. Wilt & Barbara Greenwood are co-rally masters for this event.

Berkley & Karen Alexander are chairing the seminar monitor committee and are seeking volunteers. This volunteer will hand out evaluation forms before the seminar, collect the completed forms afterwards, and complete a seminar summary form (# attendees, presenter, topic, room etc.). Paul Cummings is chairing the motor coach exhibit. Contact the Greenwoods for other volunteer opportunities.

If you have not attended GEAR in the past, it is a lot of fun. In addition to the rally events (seminars, motor home exhibits, vendor exhibits, entertainment, etc.), Dogwood members enjoy socializing. Last year, in addition to the chapter happy hour hosted by the Alexanders, there were impromptu happy hours, pot luck dinners, dinners out, and more.

If you plan to attend GEAR, please send a note to FMCADogwood@gmail.com. Berkley needs to submit a list of volunteers to FMCA and said he would include everyone from Dogwood who plans to attend as he is sure you will volunteer to help out with at least one seminar. Being on the volunteer list will allow you to park in the volunteer area.
