Place - Ed Fisher's shop, 147 Urbanna Road, Saluda VA 23149. Free dry camping. Limited electricity, enough to charge batteries, run lights and TV. Bring extension cords. Two coaches per 20 amp service.This is for up to 12 coaches. Additional coaches in overflow, with no electricity.
When: Friday and Saturday, September 11 and 12. Early arrivals welcome.
Thursday evening, group dinner at local restaurant for early arrivals. Attendees order from menu and pay Dutch.
Saturday and Sunday breakfast cooked by volunteers, with fixins included in rally fee.
All lunches are on your own.
Friday dinner. Bring the meat of your choice to be grilled on community gas grille. Bring a side dish or dessert to share.
Saturday dinner. Ed Fisher's famous smoked Eastern NC bar-b-que (vinegar based), with cole slaw, hush puppies, and soft drinks, all furnished in rally fee. Bring a desert to share.
Activities: Saturday morning, the Urbanna farmers market. Friday and Saturday throughout the day boat rides in local waters, groups of 5 or so, 30 minutes or so, free. All week end, bull sessions, etc. Social hour on Friday and Saturday at 5:00 pm. Snacks furnished in rally fee. Bring your own alcohol.
There will be 2 door prizes. Each coach will get one ticket. Prizes will each be for a trip for two in Ed Fisher's airplane for lunch on Tangier Island. Cost of lunch not included. We will do this as time permits on Saturday or Sunday. Drawing will be Friday at the social hour.
For all meals, bring your own plates, cups, and utensils.
Rally fee is not firm, but will be around $30.00 per coach.
