Care Person Update - Nick Fisher

Nick Fisher Passing                         April 2024

It is with heavy heart that we share the sad news of Nick Fisher’s Passing.  Nick was the son of Ed & Anke Fisher and attended several Dogwood Rallies over the years.  Nick suffered from ALS.

From Ed:

Obit will be in Richmond and Urbanna papers next week. Nick has been cremated per his request, and memorial service at Bennet funeral home in Mechanicsville on Saturday, May 18 at 2:30 PM.

We are deeply saddened, but are comforted that he is finally at peace with the Lord. We knew the outcome for 3 years, and the last several months were very hard for Nick and his whole family. He was unable to speak a word or move at all under his own power and was in constant pain. He was ready and anxious to go at the end. He is finally at peace.

Ed

Our thoughts and prayers are with Nick, Ed, Anke, and their entire family.

With Warm Regards,

Your Dogwood Family
