Dogwood's Spring Rally at Fort Monroe

DOGWOOD RALLY AT FORT MONROE, Hampton, VA

April 17-19, 2009

Hosts – The Buelow’s, Duff’s, and Schoolar’s

Rally will be held in an open area with waterfront parking. We will be dry camping, but water, dump facilities, and portable restrooms are available. There is much to see in the area. Tour info provided at rally.

Passes to Fort Monroe are required, and will be issued at the gate. Pets are allowed, but firearms are not, unless checked at the gate. Drivers license, registration, proof of insurance, and a picture ID are required for all over 18 years of age.

The rally officially begins at 12 PM on Friday April 17. If you would like to come early, you may arrive anytime after 3 PM on April 16.

The rally is limited to 30 coaches. Please reserve early; deadline to register is April 1. Cost per coach is $55.00 if you arrive on April 16, and $50.00 if you arrive on April 17. Cost includes parking for your coach and tow car along with the following meals and snacks. Additional guests are $20.00 per person.

Directions to the Rally

1. Travel to Hampton VA. using interstate 64.
2. Take exit 268 in Hampton, and go to top of hill
3. At top of hill, make a left turn onto east Mallory Street.
4. Follow east Mallory Street to Mercury Blvd.
5. Turn right onto Mercury Blvd. (rte 258).
6. Follow Mercury Blvd to entrance to Fort Monroe, (stay in right lane).
7. Stop at gate to get visitors pass.
8. Follow McNair Dr. to stop sign.(McNair changes to Fenwick Rd. at stop sign).
9. Follow Fenwick Rd along water and to campsites on left.
10. Our rally will be on the right side of Fenwick just across from the campsites.
